First promise for the Year 2000

Psa 50:15, “Call upon Me in the day of trouble and I will deliver thee and thou shalt glorify Me.”

1. An urgent occasion, “In the day of trouble.”
2. Condescending advice, “Call upon Me.”
3. Reassuring encouragement, “I will deliver thee.”
4. An ultimate result, “Thou shalt glorify Me.”

Here is a promise for your prosperity for next year! 2000 A.D.

Psa 35:27, “Let them shout for joy, and be glad that favor My righteous cause. Yea, let them say continually, let the Lord be magnified, which hath pleasure in the prosperity of His servant.”

You are a servant. He has pleasure in your prosperity. Oh yea!
And you favor His righteous cause. Oh yea!

The more you make, the more pleasure you give Him. Oh yea!

Enjoy! Merry Christmas!

The way in which to face the uncertainty of Y2K and the year 2000 A.D.

Psa 63:1, “O God, thou art my God. Early will I seek Thee. My soul thirsteth for Thee. My flesh longeth for Thee in a dry and thirstly land where no water is.”
Isa 63:5, “My soul shall be satisfied as with marrow and fatness and my mouth shall praise Thee with joyful lips.”
Psa 63:8, “My soul followeth hard after Thee; thy right hand upholdeth me.”

Sunday, November 21, 1999

Psa 108, “O God, my mind is fixed, I will sing and give praise even with my glory.”

The first thing we find here is that David's mind is fixed. And the one thing we have to learn is to fix our mind on the Lord.  And if we do that then.

“I will keep him in perfect peace whose mind is stayed on me,” Isa 26.

Stability in the mental attitude will stand in the day of calamity. “As a man thinketh in his mind so is he.” A promise for Y2K, November 21, 1999.

Wednesday, November 17, 1999

Psa 37:18-19, “The Lord knoweth the days of the upright, and their inheritance will be for ever.”

They shall not be ashamed in the evil time. And in days of famine they shall be satisfied.

Job 5:20, “In famine, He shall redeem thee from death.”

Job 5:22, “At death and famine thou shalt laugh.”

Psa 37:25, “I have been young and now am old yet have I not seen the righteous forsaken  nor his seed begging bread.”

Lev 26:23-24, “And if ye will not be reformed by Me by these things but will walk contrary  to me, then will I walk contrary unto you, and will punish you yet seven more times for your sins.

Lev 26:26-28, “And when I have broken the staff of your bread, ten women shall bake your bread in one oven and they shall deliver you your bread again by weight ye shall eat and not be satisfied. And if ye will not for all this hearken unto Me but walk contrary unto Me, then I will walk contrary unto you also in fury and I even I will chastise you seven times more for your sins.”

Matt 4:4, “Man cannot live by bread alone but every Word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.”

Jer 17:8, “Blessed is the man that trusteth in the Lord and whose hope the Lord is.  For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters and that spreadeth out her roots by the river and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green and shall not be anxious in the year of draught neither shalt cease from yielding fruit.”

Heat and year of draught might very well be a description of a Y2K Christmas.

Tremendous principle for today:

Deut 28:47-48, "Because thou servest not the Lord thy God with joyfulness and with gladness of heart for the abundance of all things; therefore shall thou serve thine enemies which the Lord shall send against thee, in hunger, and in thirst, and in nakedness and in want of all things and He shall put a yoke of iron upon thy neck until He have destroyed thee."

Tuesday, November 9, 1999

Psa 48:24, "For this God is our God for ever and ever; He will be our Guide, even over death."

Psa 15:8, "I have set the Lord always before me, because He is at my right hand, I shall not be moved."

Monday, November 8, 1999

Hab 2:20, "But the Lord is in His holy temple, let all the Earth keep silence before Him."

Heb 2:4, "Behold his soul which is lifted up is not upright in him but the just shall live by his faith."

Sunday, November 7, 1999

Jer 17:8, "For he shall be as a tree planted by the waters and that spreadeth out her roots and shall not see when heat cometh, but her leaf shall be green. And she shall not be anxious in the year of draught, neither shall cease from yielding fruit."

Strong faith can live in any climate.

"This is the victory that overcometh the world, even your faith."

Friday, November 5, 1999

Rom 8:1, "There is therefore no condemnation to them that are in Christ Jesus."
Phil 3:9, "We are found in Him."
Eph 1:6, "We are accepted in the Beloved."

Thursday, November 4, 1999

Matt 6:40, "And this is the will of Him that sent Me that every one which seeth the Son and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life and I will raise Him up at the last day."

Tuesday, November 2, 1999

Matt 6:40, "And this is the will of Him that sent Me that every one which seeth the Son and believeth on Him, may have everlasting life and I will raise Him up at the last day."

Monday, November 1, 1999

John 9:35-38, "Dost thou believe on the Son of God? He answered and said, who is He, Lord, that I might believe on Him? And Jesus said unto him, thou hast both seen Him and it is He that talketh with thee. And he said, Lord, I believe, and he worshipped Him."

Saturday, October 30, 1999

John 11:25, "Jesus said unto her, I am the Resurrection and the Life, he that believeth on Me though he were dead yet shall he live. And whosoever liveth and believeth on Me shall never die, believest thou that?"

Friday, October 29, 1999

Acts 10:43, "To Him give all the prophets witness, that through His Name whosoever believeth in Him shall receive remission of sins."

Thursday, October 28, 1999

Acts 4:12, "Neither is there salvation in any other, for there is no other name under Heaven given among men whereby we must be saved."

Psa 70:4, "Let all those that seek Thee rejoice and be glad in Thee, and let such as love Thy salvation say continually, Let God be magnified."

Wednesday, October 27, 1999

John 1:11-12, "He came unto His own and His own received Him not. But as many as received Him gave He power to become the sons of God, even to them that believe on His Name."

Tuesday, October 26, 1999

John 20:30-31, "And many other signs truly did Jesus in the presence of His disciples which are not written in this Book."
"But these are written that ye might believe that Jesus is the Christ, the Son of God, and that believing ye might have life through His Name."

Gen 15:6, "Abraham believed in God and He counted unto him for righteousness."

John 3:36, "He that believeth on the Son hath everlasting life, and he that believeth not the Son shall not see life but the wrath of God abideth on him."

Monday, October 25, 1999

John 6:47, "Verily, verily, I say unto you, he that believeth on Me has everlasting life."

Joel 2:32, "Whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved."
Rom 10:13, "Whosoever shall call upon the Name of the Lord shall be saved."

Both in the Old and the New Testament repeated for emphasis and importance.

While you are waiting for the new Millennium, look at these verses and you make up your own mind.

John 10:28, "I give unto them eternal life and no one shall pluck them out of My hand."

And here is what goes along with eternal life:
An eternal God. Deut 33:27
An eternal salvation, Heb 5:9, 9:12
An eternal glory, 2 Cor 4:13, 2 Tim 2:10
An eternal home, 2 Cor 5:1, Luke 16:9
An eternal joy, Isa 38:10
An eternal kindness, Isa 54:8
An eternal way, Psa 139:34
An eternal life, Titus 1:2

Acts 15:11, "But we believe that through the Grace of the Lord Jesus Christ, we shall be saved even as these are."
